Malteria Oriental S.A (MOSA) is owned by an investment fund that is linked to a major Brazilian Brewers Group.
Founded in 1934, it is not only the country´s first malting industry, but also the largest nowadays.
It owns a malting plant whose production capacity is 140.000 ton/year that will grow to 220.000 ton/year after its extension is completed. Barley is a key raw material for the beer brewery industry and it ranks amongst the 10 main export sectors.
